JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hosital, the Department of Pediatrics, in collaboration with the NSS, conducted a health screening for school students at Kongarkalan camp today. Dr. Abinaya and Dr. Suchi led the screening, focusing on several key areas:
Anthropometric Measurements: Detailed assessments were conducted to monitor the students’ growth and development.
Clinical Complaints: Students’ health concerns and symptoms were documented to identify any immediate or ongoing health issues.
Overall Well-Being: A holistic approach was taken to evaluate the general health and well-being of each student.
The data collected will be essential for addressing any identified health issues and planning further interventions to improve student health outcomes.
Today, we had an insightful bedside clinical meeting with Dr. Manisha Thakur, MBBS, MD Pediatrics at JIMS Hospital’s Female Pediatric Ward. Alongside our dedicated PG Pediatrics students, Dr Suchi and Dr Rukhiya, focused on the regular checkups of our infants, evaluating their weight, physical health, and overall well-being.
We carefully examined each child’s physical generals and assessed whether breastfeeding meets their needs. It’s always inspiring to see such thorough and compassionate care in action.
