The Department of Repertory successfully conducted a one-day workshop on “Different Repertorial Approaches” on 17th September 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing interns with an engaging platform to strengthen their practical understanding of repertorisation.
The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anjali Baber, Moderator, with Dr. Vishal Deshpande and Dr. Mohammed Irfan serving as Supervisors. The programme was attended by 91 interns and 8 faculty members, who actively participated as group facilitators.
The session commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Mohammed Irfan, who highlighted the objectives of the workshop and the importance of practical, case-based learning in developing effective repertorial skills. He also noted that this was the third workshop in the planned series for the current batch of interns.
A pre-workshop assessment comprising 20 MCQs on case taking and repertorisation was conducted to assess the participants’ baseline understanding.
The core session, led by Dr. Anjali Baber, featured an interactive discussion of four pre-circulated clinical cases. The interns explored different approaches to symptom evaluation, analysis and repertorial selection, gaining insight into how multiple repertorial methods can be applied to the same case and may converge towards a similar group of remedies.
The active involvement of the interns, supported by their faculty group facilitators, made the session highly interactive and engaging. PG Scholar Dr. Navyasri supported the technical aspects of the workshop and contributed to the discussion of a case, while PG Scholar Dr. Santosh presented a case demonstrating the clinical application of Knerr’s Repertory.
The workshop concluded with a post-workshop assessment and participant feedback session. The interactive, case-based format provided interns with valuable exposure to the practical reasoning involved in selecting an appropriate repertorial approach and repertory for different clinical situations.
The programme concluded successfully with positive feedback from the interns and faculty members, reflecting the value of experiential learning in strengthening clinical repertorial skills.
