JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College Organized an online Workshop on “Homoeopathy and Covid19” on 17th July 2020 from 10AM to 2PM through Cisco Webex and Youtube media Platforms.
The event began with Mangalasasanam by HH Sri SriChinnaJeeyarSwamiji .
Dr Rajender Reddy, Principal gave inaugural address on the occasion, he highlighted understanding of acute disease and Epidemics in Homoeopathy and deriving genus epidemicus and Success of Homoeopathy in Combating Epidemic Diseases.
The next session of the webinar was undertaken by Dr Madhusudan, Former Scientist, Centre for cellular and molecular biology (CCMB), He touched upon the origin and spread of Covid-19 first in china later all over the world. He also spoke about do’s and don’ts to prevent and spread of the pandemic.
Dr P. Uday Kumar, Dy Director, N.I.N (National Institution of Nutrition), He expressed deep love and trust for homoeopathy and his eagerness to collaborate on clinical trials using Homoeopathic medicines.
Dr R.K Manchanda, former director General, CCRH addressed Homoeopathic guidelines on treatment of covid-19 through Homoeopathy. He stressed on Stages of Treatment of Covid 19. He also talked about current undergoing researches on Covid 19 through Homeopathy at UK, Greece.
Dr Pravas Pal, Professor, JIMS HMC, talked about effectiveness of Arsenicum album 30 as Prophylaxis in Covid Pandemic, study conducted at JIMSHMC and Hospital in collaboration with CCRH. He said more than 43000 people from 28 villages by Doctors from JIMS H0moeopathic Medical college and more than 3.5 people in and around Hyderabad villages including Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Nirmal are given preventive with the help of Seva Bharathi Foundation, Vikas Tarangini, Ekalavya and Sathya harishchandra Foundationswith only 5 people among them were found covid 19 positive.
Dr Chandrashekhar, Director, IICT talked on the subject of development of Research Protocol in Homoeopathy in the treatment of Covid-19.

Dr Praveen Kumar, Professor, JIMS HMC spoke about Govt role in use of Homeopathic System of Medicine in the treatment Protocol of Covid 19.
Dr Janardhan Reddy, Professor Emirates, JIMS HMC, highlighted the Homoeopathic Therapeutics in the Covid-19 Treatment.
Concluding remarks were given by Dr N S Prasanth, IEC Committee Convenor, JIMS HMC & Hospital.
