100 Days TB Elimination Campaign – Event: V

In continuation with 100 Days TB Elimination Campaign, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Department of Community Medicine and NSS unit, had conducted an awareness programme at ZPHS, Kollapadkal .
Dr. K. Sahaja Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Repertory and 6 PG scholars volunteered for the awareness campaign.
The program provided valuable knowledge about Tuberculosis, importance of hygiene and diet and about Nikshay Poshan Yojana.
30 students, teachers and Head Master Mr. Nayak actively participated in the discussion.
The campaign empowered the students to become agents of change, promoting healthy practices and awareness within their communities.
National Youth Day Celebration Report
JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, celebrated National Youth Day on 11th January 2025, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a renowned philosopher, spiritual leader and social reformer.
Principal, Dr. N. C Dhole addressed the gathering, sharing insights into Swami Vivekananda’s life history, values, and teachings. He emphasized the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy, particularly his emphasis on education, self-empowerment, discipline and nation-building.
A meditation session was conducted for students, PG scholars and faculty members by Dr. Ajeya and Dr. Vijay. The session inculcated calmness, inner peace and harmony.
The event served as a reminder to the youth to adopt Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and work towards creating a positive impact in society. The celebration concluded with a sense of renewed purpose and inspiration among the participants.
