JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital celebrated the 12th Formation Day of Telangana with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 2nd June 2026. The programme was attended by students, postgraduate scholars, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff of the institution.
The event commenced with the gathering of faculty members, students, and staff, reflecting the collective pride and commitment of the JIMS family towards the progress and development of Telangana State.
Dr. N. C. Dhole, Principal, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, addressed the gathering and highlighted the remarkable progress achieved by Telangana in various sectors since its formation. He elaborated on the state’s achievements in healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and social welfare. He further emphasized the significant role played by JIMS in contributing to Telangana’s growth through quality medical education, healthcare services, community outreach programmes, and research initiatives.
Dr. Uma Rani Gampa, Professor, Department of Anatomy, spoke about the rapid development and transformation of Telangana over the last twelve years. She highlighted the state’s achievements in education, women empowerment, technological advancement, and public health, emphasizing how these developments have improved the quality of life of its citizens.
Dr. Srikanth, DMS, JIMS Hospital, addressed the gathering on the vital contribution of JIMS Hospital in providing accessible and affordable healthcare services, particularly to rural and underserved communities. He elaborated on the hospital’s outreach activities, health camps, awareness programmes, and community-based initiatives that have significantly contributed to improving public health in the region.
Dr. Sri Harshita delivered an insightful presentation on the research activities undertaken by JIMS. She highlighted the institution’s growing contribution to scientific research, publications, and evidence-based homoeopathic practice. She emphasized how the research initiatives at JIMS are supporting the advancement of healthcare and contributing to the development of Telangana as well as the nation.
The programme served as an opportunity to reflect upon Telangana’s inspiring journey of growth and development while reaffirming JIMS’ commitment to excellence in medical education, healthcare delivery, community service, and research.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Pravas Pal, Medical Superintendent, JIMS Hospital, who expressed gratitude to the management, faculty, students, staff, and all participants for making the programme a grand success. He appreciated the collective efforts of everyone in upholding the institution’s mission of serving society and contributing to the continued progress of Telangana.
