On the occasion of World Homoeopathy Week (1st – 7th April 2026), JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital organized a Free Medical Camp and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Screening Program at Budwel (Urban Centre) on 1st April 2026.
The camp focused on screening and early detection of major NCDs, including Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, and Obesity. A comprehensive awareness session was conducted to educate the public on risk factors, clinical presentation, preventive strategies, and management, along with dietary guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Beneficiaries were screened and assessed through Blood Pressure measurement, Random Blood Sugar testing, and BMI evaluation. All attendees were provided with free homoeopathic consultation and treatment.
The program was efficiently conducted by a dedicated team of PG Scholars, Interns, and Final Year BHMS students under the guidance of Dr. T. Surekha, Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine.
A total of 60 beneficiaries availed the services.
This initiative aimed to enhance awareness about non-communicable diseases and encouraged individuals to prioritize their health through preventive care and the holistic approach of homoeopathy.
