Promoting Healthy Childhood Through Early Screening & Preventive Care 🌿
The Department of Paediatrics, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College, successfully conducted a comprehensive School Health Camp at Little Scholar School, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, from 17th to 22nd August 2026.
👧🏻👦🏻 1,100 students were screened during the programme. The health assessment included anthropometric measurements, growth assessment and general health examination, conducted by the Paediatric faculty, Postgraduate (PG) scholars and interns.
The camp also focused on creating awareness among students about:
🔹 Healthy nutrition and balanced diet
🔹 Personal and hand hygiene
🔹 Oral health and cleanliness
🔹 Physical activity and healthy lifestyle practices
🔹 Preventive healthcare and early identification of health concerns
The active cooperation of the school management, teachers and staff contributed greatly to the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The school management expressed their appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the medical team and felicitated the doctors with a token of appreciation on the concluding day. 🙏🏻
