🧠 MANODARPAN 2.0 – DAY 1
Promoting Mental Health Awareness, Well-being & Resilience

Morning Session – College Campus

The first day of Manodarpan 2.0 commenced with the formal inauguration at the college campus, led by Principal Dr. N.C. Dhole, Vice Principal Dr. Santosh Kumar, and PG Coordinator Dr. Vishal Deshpande, along with the institutional staff. The inaugural programme was followed by engaging mental wellness icebreakers and memory games designed to encourage interaction, improve cognitive engagement, and create awareness about the importance of mental well-being among students and staff.

JIMS Hospital Session

The programme continued at JIMS Hospital with an inauguration led by Chief Guest Dr. Ramakrishna, in the presence of Dr. Pravas Kumar Pal, Dr. Samar Chatterjee, and Dr. Ramanjaneyulu. Dr. Ramakrishna spoke about the persistent social stigma associated with mental health and emphasized the need for greater awareness, empathy, timely intervention, and professional support. The speakers also highlighted the dedicated facilities and services available at JIMS for mental healthcare.

The hospital session also featured real patient testimonials, memory games, and cognitive puzzles, providing patients with an interactive and encouraging experience while reinforcing the importance of seeking appropriate medical care. The session concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. V. Sravani.

Afternoon Session – Mind Quest Competition

The afternoon session featured “Mind Quest,” an engaging multi-round academic competition conducted for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students. The competition was designed around mental health-related concepts and vocabulary, encouraging students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, communication skills, and teamwork.

The competition consisted of three interactive rounds — Pictionary, Dumb Charades, and Tom, Dick & Harry. The activity provided an enjoyable learning environment while reinforcing important mental health concepts through creativity and collaboration.

✨ Manodarpan 2.0 continues its journey towards building greater awareness, reducing stigma, and creating a supportive environment where mental health is understood, discussed, and valued.
