JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital proudly participated in an inspiring virtual meeting addressed by Dr. Rajat Chattopadhyay, President, Homoeopathic Education Board, National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).

Dr. Chattopadhyay emphasized the significance of the CBDC (Competency Based Dynamic Curriculum) and highlighted how structured learning, regular attendance in theory, practical, and clinical classes plays a pivotal role in shaping competent and confident homoeopathic physicians.
He elaborated on the importance of Skill Labs and Simulation Labs, explaining how hands-on training enhances clinical exposure, develops practical competencies, and bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-time patient care.

Formative Assessment – Continuous internal evaluation aimed at monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering academic growth.
Summative Assessment – Comprehensive evaluation conducted at the end of a term to measure overall competency and learning outcomes.
Dr. Chattopadhyay further discussed the introduction and importance of Elective Studies, encouraging students to explore interdisciplinary knowledge beyond the prescribed curriculum, thereby broadening their academic perspective and enhancing professional development.
He also highlighted the importance of the AYUSH Educational Portal, a transformative digital platform designed to streamline academic activities, ensure transparency, maintain academic records, facilitate student progression tracking, and support a structured and technology-driven education system for AYUSH institutions across the country.
