JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital successfully conducted a seminar on “Introduction to Dr. Rajan Sankaran’s Sensation Method” on 23rd October 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The session aimed to introduce postgraduate scholars and interns to this revolutionary approach in homeopathic case-taking and analysis.
The seminar was conducted in two sessions — the morning session (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) for postgraduate scholars of all three batches, moderated by Dr. Tamil Selvan, and the afternoon session (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) for interns, moderated by Dr. Srinath Rao and Dr. Mohammed Irfan.
Dr. Gitesh Kalyankar, an associate of PRANA – The Homeopathy Yoga Centre, Pune, served as the distinguished resource person. He provided deep insights into the evolution of Dr. Sankaran’s practice and the conceptual framework of the Sensation Method. Through engaging discussions and practical case illustrations, Dr. Kalyankar explained the Three Basic Laws of the Mind and emphasized understanding the patient’s total experience — both before and during illness — to identify the central theme of a case.
He further elaborated on differentiating the kingdoms — Plant, Animal, and Mineral — and specific remedies within the periodic table based on rows and columns. Additionally, participants were informed about the advanced courses offered by the PRANA Academy, designed for postgraduate students and practitioners seeking deeper expertise in the Sensation Method.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students and interns actively participated, seeking clarifications and sharing perspectives. Dr. Kalyankar’s thoughtful responses enriched the overall learning experience, leaving participants inspired to explore the Sensation Method in their clinical practice.
