College annual day function on 3rd of December 2019
The college annual day function was celebrated on 3rd of December 2019. Dr Jupally Rameshwar Rao garu presided over the function and His holiness Sri Sri sri tridandi Chinna srimannarayana ramanuja jeeyar Swamiji were chif guest for the event, other guests of honour were HH sri sri sri tridandi Ahobila ramanuja jeeyar Swamiji, HH sri sri sri Devnatha jeeyar swamiji, Nepala krishna swamiji, Samudrala ranga ramanuja charyalu garu and Dr Samudrala venugopalacharya garu.
The function began with lightening of the lamp and garlanding photo of Samuel Hahnemann by the president, chief guest, other guests of honour, the principal, Dr Rajender Reddy garu and the medical superintendent, Dr Irfan of the JIMS homoeopathic medical college and hospital.
After this, function is preceded by felicitation of the chief guest, other guests of honour and president by the principal and college staff. After the felicitation, The Principal Welcomed the gathering and annual college report was given by B.Poojitha, student of final year BHMS. After the annual college report, prizes were distributed to the winner teams by the chief guest, other guests of honour and president of the function. Sports and cultural committee in charges co ordinated prize distribution and was immediately followed by address of the guests of honour and after that chief guest, His holiness sri sri sri tridandi Chinna srimannarayana ramanuja jeeyar Swamiji addressed the gathering. This is followed by presidential address and presidential address is followed by cultural activities by the students.

Pre-conference for International Conference on Integrative Oncology by Global Homoeopathy Foundation
On 10th December 2019 Pre-conference for International conference on Integrative Oncology, by Global Homoeopathy Foundation to be held on Feb 8,9th at Hotel Le Meridian, Kochi has been conducted at JIMS HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE in association with Global Homoeopathy Foundation.
This session was organised to brief Homoeopaths in Hyderabad about the International conference on oncology to be held in February and also to emphasize the importance of Integration of different systems of medicine in treatment of a patient with cancer. Distinguished physicians from different systems of Medicine spoke on managing cancer patients.
Representatives from Dev’s Homoeopathic Medical college, Hamsa Homoeopathic Medical college, IIHP Hyderabad chapter, Teaching Faculty and students of JIMS HMC were present in the session.
Dr A Rajendar reddy, Principal, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College addressed and welcomed the gathering and gave inaugural talk on Homoeopathic management of cancers and also highlighted the fact that JIMS is one such peculiar institute where multiple systems of medicine are integrated as per patients need for their best interest.
Dr Sreevals Menon from GHF spoke about how GHF is encouraging clinical research and drug research. He also gave Glimpses of upcoming Oncology conference where speakers from Homoeopathy, Allopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, and Naturopathy & Yoga are to speak about cancer management.
Dr Srinivas Reddy, Vice-Principal, JSPS Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad spoke about growing burden of treating Non communicable diseases on medical fraternity, Homoeopathic management of Cancer patients & Presented a case of Non small cell Lung cancer cured with help of Homoeopathic treatment.
Dr Madhu Varanasi, Vice-President, IIHP Hyderabad chapter spoke about how Pathological Homoeopathic prescriptions help in curing cancers and presented a cured case of Leukaemia(CLL) where patient stopped undergoing Chemotherapy after few cycles and got cured with Homoeopathic management.
Padmashree Dr M A Waheed, Member CCRUM spoke about Humoral theory of Unani and presented a case of Prostate cancer cured with Unani treatment.
Dr T Subramanyeshwar Rao, Medical director, Basavatarakam Indo American cancer institute, Hyderabad has given a Keynote address on advancements in cancer diagnosis and intervention of robotics in cancer management. He also emphasized the necessity of individualization of cancer treatment for different patients which is in line with Homoeopathic philosophy.
Vote of thanks in the end was given by Dr S. Praveen Kumar, Professor, JIMS HMC and asked all the attendees to Register themselves for the conference and get enlightened with precious information which is to be shared on cancer management.
Session was followed by lunch arranged by JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College.
Free General Health Check up Camp at Thimmapur
On 21st of November, 2019 a free Medical camp was organized at Thimmapur, Rangareddy District by JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in association with Radico Khaithan Pvt. Ltd.
HH Sri Sri Sri Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji graced this occasion with his divine presence. Dr. Rajender Reddy, Principal JIMS HMCH & Dr. Mohammed Irfan, Medical Superintendent JIMS Hospital and members from Radico Khaithan Pvt. Ltd were the members on the Dias for the inauguration programme .
The inauguration was done by HH Sri Sri Sri Thridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeya Swamiji with lighting of the lamp. An awareness talk on Homoeopathic Medicine and the services provided at JIMS Hospital was given by HH Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. He also spoke on the importance of health care especially in women.
The total number of beneficiaries in the camp was 258 of which female were 168 and male were 90.
Dr. Srinadh Babu (Consultant Physician), Dr. Srikanth (Medical Officer), Dr. Sudhamathi (Asso Prof Dept of Community Medicine), Dr. Ambika (DMO), Dr. Shivani (DMO) along with students from final year attended the camp. The paramedical staff was Mr. Srinivas Reddy, Mrs. Kanya Kumari and Mr. Madhu.
Mr. Shankar Reddy (Marketing AO), Mr. S Naidu (MSW) and Mr. Rajender Goud, MPTC, Thimmapur and MPP School, Thimmapur supported the co ordination and logistics for the camp.

PROF (DR.) RAJAT CHATTOPADHYAY, PhD(Homoeopathy) PRINCIPAL & PROFESSOR( H.O.D) Practice of Medicine , Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Govt. of West Bengal) visited JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital on the 27th of November 2019. It was a pleasure to have him in our midst and share his valuable views with us. He appreciated the state of the art infrastructure and facilities at JIMS HMCH.
