On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the NSS unit had organized an awareness programme and blood donation camp in collaboration with Community Health Center- Blood Bank, Shadnagar on 12th June and 14th June 2023 respectively.
Students, faculty, non-teaching and house-keeping staff all participated in the Blood donation pledge and 88 of them donated blood and contributed towards the noble cause to save lives.
On the occasion of World Environment Day 5th June 2023, the Department of Community Medicine had organized a tree plantation programme for students to enhance their knowledge of medicinal plants and promote environment conservation. The final year students along with the faculty members planted medicinal plants like ashwagandha, hibiscus, fig, senna, peanut butter plant, rosemary etc in the JIMS campus.
An awareness speech regarding World Environment Day theme 2023 #BeatPlasticPollution was given by Dr. Viraj which was followed by the Lifestyle for the Environment Pledge that was taken by students and faculty members with commitment towards inculcating long-term environment friendly habits and reduce plastic pollution.

JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad, Department of Anatomy organized “Cadaveric Oath” taking ceremony on 03/05/2023 for the First Prof: 2022-24 batch, as per the course outcome 03 of FIRST B.H.M.S. CBDC program.
Director, JIMS Healthcare -Dr.Navin Pawaskar administered the oath to the students & faculty serving the purpose of instilling the highest respect & work ethics while handling human cadaver .Senior anatomy professor, Dr.Gautam Ash emphasized upon the importance of body donation, work ethics in handling the human cadaver with utmost dignity. He also spoke on history of cadaveric dissection. Principal-Dr.Nimai Chandra Dhole & Vice Principal-Dr J. Santosh encouraged the students to follow the aforesaid. HOD Dept of Anatomy-Dr Raghuramaiah coordinated the ceremony & gave away the vote of thanks.
JIMSHMCH, Hyderabad takes the pride in stating that Dr Sudipti Singh, Assistant Lecturer Psychiatry Dept is awarded by CCRH for “Quality MD Dissertation in Homoeopathy”.Also, Six of the UG students- A. Rasagna Vardhana Reddy, J.Pranuthi.,Sai Shreya, Lakshmi Sirisha, Mandadi Srinidhi & G Hrudaya from JIMSHMCH, Hyderabad were the recipients of the STSH award at the Flag-Off Event on 10th April 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, organized by CCRH.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Vice President of India Sri Jagdeep Dhankad Ji, Dr Shrimati Sudesh Dhankhad, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, and Union Cabinet Minister Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways & Ministry of Ayush, Dr Munjipara Mahendrabhai Hon’ble Minister of State Ministry of Ayush Ministry of Women & Child Development. A “Memorandum of Understanding’ between Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, New Delhi and JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad was executed on, April 10, 2023. CCRH, through its network of institutes/units across the country, has been conducting various kinds of research on scientific lines in the field of homoeopathy since 1978. JIMSHMCH, Hyderabad, successfully conducted three research projects and submitted to CCRH under the first MOU signed in year 2017.
JIMSHMCH signed its second MoU with CCRH along with 70 other colleges to develop their academic/research links, in the field of Homoeopathy, under the principles of mutual understanding and common interest, mutually complementing other activities. On behalf of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Director General-Dr Subhash Kaushik witnessed by Dr D.D Nayak and on behalf of JIMSHMCH, Hyderabad Principal-Dr Nimaichandra Dhole in the witness whereof Dr Bainu Sharma have signed this agreement.
