As part of the National Seminar on “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Clinical Practice and Homoeopathy”, held on 31 August 2026 at the National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health (NHRIMH), Kottayam, a significant academic collaboration was established with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NHRIMH, Kottayam and JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital.
The MoU aims to promote interdisciplinary academic exchange in the field of Psychiatry and Mental Health, facilitating academic interaction, exchange of knowledge and expertise, and opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement. The collaboration is expected to provide a platform for faculty and students to share academic and clinical insights, enhance professional learning, and explore collaborative opportunities in mental health and psychiatry.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH, and Dr. Debadatta Nayak, Assistant Director (Homoeopathy) and Officer-in-Charge, NHRIMH, Kottayam. Dr. Pravas Pal, Medical Superintendent, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, was also present on the occasion. This collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening academic partnerships, encouraging interdisciplinary learning, and contributing to the advancement of mental healthcare through knowledge sharing and collaborative initiatives.
