JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital organised an Institutional Clinical Exposure Visit for seven PG Scholars of MD (Homoeopathy), Part-II, 2023–2024 batch to the Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC), College of Veterinary Science, P.V. Narasimha Rao Veterinary University, Hyderabad, on 25 August 2026.
The visit provided the scholars with valuable exposure to advanced veterinary clinical services and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The scholars interacted with eminent veterinary professionals, including Dr. Lakshmi, Dr. Ayodhya, Dr. Jayasri (Pathologist), Dr. Radha Krishna, Dr. Pravalika (Surgeon), and Dr. G. Aruna, who shared their expertise in clinical medicine, pathology, laboratory investigations, surgery, gynaecology, critical care and preventive healthcare. The interaction also included insights into the application of Homoeopathy in common veterinary diseases.
During the visit, the scholars explored various specialised clinical units, including Cardiology, Haemodialysis, ICU, EEG, Clinical Nutrition, Oncology, Laboratory, Operation Theatre Complex, Physiotherapy, Ruminant Ward/Large Animal OT, Gynaecology, Blood Transfusion, Endoscopy & Laparoscopy, and Vaccination Ward.
The exposure visit enhanced the scholars’ understanding of clinical examination, diagnostic investigations, surgical procedures, critical care, rehabilitation, nutrition and preventive medicine. It also highlighted the importance of integrating multiple clinical disciplines for comprehensive patient care.
A highly enriching and academically valuable experience, the visit helped bridge theoretical knowledge with practical clinical exposure and broadened the scholars’ perspective on the scope of clinical practice and multidisciplinary healthcare.
