On 6th August 2025, the Postgraduate scholars from the Department of Homoeopathic Pharmacy, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, accompanied by Dr. Raghuramachandra, Professor, visited Bhargava Phytolab Pvt. Ltd., Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, as part of their academic and industrial exposure. The visit aimed to provide firsthand insight into the functioning of a leading homoeopathic pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
The session began with an introductory presentation by Mr. Sandeep, who shared the legacy, infrastructure, and product range of Bhargava Phytolab. Following this, the students were taken on a guided tour of the facility by Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Rahul, Mr. Rakesh, Mr. Prashant, and Mr. Pratap. They explained the various sections of the plant, including raw material storage, ointment filling and packaging, standardization procedures, quality control and assurance, dilution and combination processing, blister packaging, and microbiology laboratory functions. The team also conducted live demonstrations of pharmaceutical experiments, providing the students with practical exposure to industrial processes.
Dr. Shefali Chhicholia addressed the scholars and offered valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available in the homoeopathic pharmacy sector, encouraging students to broaden their professional horizons. The visit concluded with a quiz session to reinforce learning, followed by the distribution of certificates and souvenirs to the participating PG scholars and faculty.
This educational visit proved to be an enriching experience, bridging academic learning with industrial practice and strengthening the students’ understanding of pharmaceutical sciences in homoeopathy.
