As part of the ongoing celebrations of World Homoeopathy Week 2026, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital successfully conducted an Essay Writing Competition on 3rd April 2026. The event was organized as an academic excellence initiative for both undergraduate students and postgraduate scholars, aiming to foster critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and scientific writing skills among budding homoeopaths.
The theme, “Bharatiya Homoeopathy: Transforming Traditional Wisdom into Tangible Science,” inspired participants to present insightful perspectives that bridged classical homoeopathic philosophy with modern scientific understanding.
A total of 64 entries were received from undergraduate students, interns, and postgraduate scholars, making the competition both rigorous and highly competitive. The essays were evaluated through a structured and comprehensive framework, considering content relevance, conceptual depth, creativity, language proficiency, clarity, logical flow, and overall readability. The evaluation process was carried out by a panel of esteemed and experienced judges.
Following the assessment, the winners were announced and felicitated. As a mark of recognition, the awardees were invited to present their essays before the audience, showcasing their academic excellence and innovative thinking.
This competition stands as a significant step in promoting academic excellence and research orientation, reinforcing the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific inquiry for the advancement of Homoeopathy in contemporary healthcare.
