The Department of Psychiatry, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, successfully conducted MANODARPAN 2025 on 28th November 2025. The programme began with a warm welcome, poster displays, winning presentations, reels, and a prayer by UG students. The formal inauguration included the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and garlanding of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann and Sri Ramanujacharya, honouring their contributions to holistic healing and human values.
Principal Prof. Dr. N. C. Dhole addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of integrative psychiatric care, strong social support, and continued collaboration between AJRC and JIMSHMCH. Chief Guest Dr. C. Jagannath delivered an insightful address on mental illness and encouraged students to observe clinical procedures at AJRC. Dr. N. Linga Raju, Principal of JSPS Government Homoeopathic Medical College (JSPSGHMC), Ramanthapur, Hyderabad, emphasized the urgent need for a dedicated psychiatric hospital in the region and assured his support towards its establishment.
Senior dignitaries, including Dr. Navin Pawaskar,Director,JIMS Healthcare further enriched the programme through discussions on community psychiatry, family quality of life, and accessible mental health services. Academic sessions featured experts from AJRC and JIMSHMCH, covering vital topics such as mental ailments, suicide prevention, substance use, schizophrenia, and homoeopathic clinical case discussions. Post-lunch sessions included talks on Mental Illness, IDD, Autism, rare schizophrenia cases, and an engaging session on Art Therapy.
The event concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony for all MANODARPAN competitions and a special felicitation of Yoga & Naturopathy experts Dr. Hepsiba and Dr. Gayathri. The programme formally ended with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Sudipti Singh, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, students, and the organizing committee for making MANODARPAN 2025 a grand success.
