Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
As part of PCOS Awareness Month 2025, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, organized a Seminar on PCOS as the Day-4 event.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Maanasa Inavolu (Assistant Professor, OBGY), followed by an insightful seminar by Dr. Shivani Wadhwa (Professor & HOD, OBGY) on understanding PCOS in depth. Dr. Roja (Assistant Professor, OBGY) further enriched the session with a lecture on diet and lifestyle modifications essential for effective management of PCOS. The speakers engaged in interactive discussions with the students, making the session highly informative and participatory.
The seminar witnessed active involvement from faculty across various departments, including Dr. Viraj (Associate Professor) and Dr. Divya (Assistant Professor) – Community Medicine, Dr. Sudeepti Sharma (Assistant Professor, FMT), Dr. Poojitha (Assistant Professor, Surgery), and Dr. Virajitha (Assistant Professor, Organon), adding a multidisciplinary perspective.
The event concluded with a note of gratitude by Dr. Maanasa Inavolu, acknowledging the collaborative efforts and enthusiastic participation. This seminar served as yet another meaningful step in spreading awareness and fostering holistic approaches for the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
