As part of the World Breastfeeding Week celebrations, the Departments of Paediatrics and OBGY at JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College organized a Model Competition on 5th August 2025.
The competition provided a platform for students to creatively express and demonstrate their knowledge on various aspects of breastfeeding. The event served as a meaningful initiative to promote awareness and emphasize the importance of breastfeeding for maternal and child health.
We were privileged to have Dr. Navin Pawaskar (Director, JIMS Health Care), Dr. N.C. Dhole (Principal), and Dr. Santosh Kumar (Vice-Principal) as the esteemed Guests of Honour. Their presence greatly encouraged and inspired the participants.
The competition was expertly judged by Dr. Umarani, Dr. Vibhavya, and Dr. Anjali, who evaluated the models based on relevance, creativity, and clarity.
