A Post-Budget Webinar was organised on 09 March 2026 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of AYUSH, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
The webinar featured an inspiring address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who highlighted the Union Budget’s vision for strengthening healthcare infrastructure, encouraging innovation, enhancing skill development, and empowering citizens as India progresses towards the goal of a Viksit Bharat.
JIMS Medical College & Hospital (JIMSHMCH) actively participated in the virtual session, with UG and PG students along with faculty members attending the webinar. The programme provided valuable insights into the government’s strategic initiatives aimed at advancing healthcare systems, promoting research and innovation, and building a skilled healthcare workforce for the future.
The webinar served as a meaningful platform for academic engagement, enabling students and faculty to gain deeper understanding of national policies and their transformative impact on healthcare delivery and medical education in India.
