Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
As part of PCOS Awareness Month 2025, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, JIMS Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, organized a Case Presentation on PCOS on 17th September 2025 as the Day-3 event.
The session began with a warm welcome by Dr. Roja (Assistant Professor, OBGY), followed by an evidence-based case presentation by Dr. Kaumudi Padma Mala Ayyagari (Associate Professor, OBGY) titled “Cysts–Cycles–Cure: A Scientific Saga in Syndrome with Sweet Single Dose.” She highlighted the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicines in treating infertility among PCOS individuals, supported by radiological evidence and improvements in psycho-social well-being.
Dr. Shivani Wadhwa (Professor & HOD, OBGY) further enriched the session with her insights on integrating Homoeopathic treatment with diet, lifestyle modifications, yoga, and psychiatry for holistic PCOS management. The programme witnessed active participation from Dr. Tamil Salven (Professor, Paediatrics), Dr. Divya (Assistant Professor, Community Medicine), and Dr. Poojitha & Dr. Vishnu (Assistant Professors, Surgery), making the discussion multidisciplinary and impactful.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Maanasa Inavolu (Assistant Professor, OBGY), marking the successful closure of the Day-3 awareness activity. This initiative once again underscored the commitment of the OBGY department towards spreading knowledge and promoting holistic approaches to women’s health.
