- Overview of the tour: The visit was about introducing the students to the various
functioning units of an industry and the safety measures followed in the premises to prevent occupational hazards and diseases.
The students visited the industry – Radico Khaitan Limited, Thimmapur in 2 batches on 28th February and 1st March 2025 along with the faculty members.
Day 1: On reaching the venue, students were introduced to the HR Manager Mr. Pavan Kumar. He gave a brief functioning of the unit. He explained the process of packaging and transportation of the material. He also highlighted the measures followed in the industry for the safety of the workers along with the benefits provided under ESIS. Thereafter students were taken around to visit the industry.
Day 2: The students reached the venue at 11.00 am. Mr. Divender Das – PET Quality In-charge explained the students about the functioning and all the procedures carried out in the industry. Further the students were taken around to visit the unit. The in-charge answered to all the queries and doubts that students came up with satisfactorily.
