As part of Course Outcome 03 of the I BHMS CBDC Programme, the Cadaveric Oath Ceremony was solemnly conducted for the I BHMS 2025–2026 batch on 06.01.2026 at the Dissection Hall, Department of Anatomy.
The oath was administered by Prof. Dr. G. Uma Rani, emphasizing the sanctity of the human body and the ethical responsibilities of medical students. The ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of QCI Inspectors, adding significance to the occasion.
Following the oath, Principal Dr. N. C. Dhole addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, and ethical values in medical education. Prof. Dr. J. Santosh, Vice Principal, and Prof. Dr. Vishal Deshpande, PG Coordinator, stressed the need to uphold the highest standards of respect, professionalism, and work ethics while handling human cadavers.
Prof. Dr. Gautham Ash delivered an insightful address on the ethical responsibilities associated with learning Anatomy, underlining the values of professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards human donors.
The ceremony concluded with a moment of silence, paying heartfelt tribute to the noble donors whose selfless contribution forms the foundation of medical education.
The event was successfully coordinated by the Department of Anatomy faculty members — Dr. G. Uma Rani, Dr. R. Ushabhargavi, Dr. A. Mounika, and Dr. M. Shivaraj. Dr. G. Uma Rani proposed the vote of thanks, marking the graceful conclusion of the ceremony.
